Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Touring Spider. One of the very last 8C 2900s built, this example's history can be traced back to 1949 when it was imported to Brazil by an amateur racer from Italy. It was raced extensively and modified along the way. By the late 1950s, it was shortened, powered by a Chevrolet V8 and fitted with a single seater body.

This car, chassis 412012, was almost completely lost in a garage fire. It was the first of seven Lungo Spyders built by Touring. The 2900 chassis was outfitted very similar to the competition cars with twin trailing arms up front and a swing-arm suspension in the rear with both friction and hydraulic dampers.
